Post-Dated Forms U5 - submission window open

To avoid 2018 state IAR renewal fees, you must file a partial Form U5 to drop un-needed states. The termination effective date must be post-dated to 12/31/2017, and the form must be filed no later than November 10 to avoid the charge for 2018 from appearing on the preliminary renewal statement. If an IAR will be leaving your firm entirely at the end of the year, you will file a Full U5 post-dated to 12/31/2017.
